[Okay, Gobo's talking to some people, so he's probably still above ground, right...?]

You guys are going to go down into the tunnels, aren't you?

[As much as Boober wants to say not to, he can't just do that in the moment, it seems. This is just something that he knows will call to both of them, for different reasons but still just as strongly as stained fabric calls to him, to tend to. So instead, what he does say comes out in a tired, somewhat whiny tone.]

If you have to do that, please just stick together.

[gobetween]

[There's a long, LONG pause here, filled only by the occasional "Diglett Dig!" in the background.]

Ahhn. We're already down here.

[soupguy]

Already? What-- Of course! Of course. [He whines a bit in his throat.] But you said you're both safe? And who were you talking to when you picked up, what am I hearing?

[gobetween]

Oh yeah don't worry about it, we're both safe and sound!

[Or- he is. No need to tell Boober Riz hasn't caught up with him yet.]

Oh, those're my new buddies! [Hold on, switching this call to video. Holding it out he grins, then tilts so that Boober can see many, MANY Diglett behind him, carpeting the floor and even popping out of the walls here and there.] Say hi, guys!

[DIGLETT!! ♥]

Oh gosh, there's so many of them... I don't even remembering seeing that many with you in Diglett Tunnel.

Well, at least it looks like they want to make friends, and not fight.

[gobetween]

Yeah! They really seem to like music, eh?

[He laughed, making an elbowing motion at the camera, for Boober to feel free to imagine it in person.]

Maybe they're long-lost Fraggle cousins.

[soupguy]

[Boober snorts and, though more or less unseen, rolls his eyes.]

No, they can't be. They're not colorful enough. Or loud enough, themselves.

[gobetween]

[He's grinning quite broadly by that last part.]

Loud?

[And before Boober can say anything else he turns back to his friends, cups his spare hand by his mouth-] Hey guys! Let's show 'em loud! [-and he uses the same hand to pump at the air, getting a pretty good and cheery DIGLETT DIIIIG! out of them.]

[Boober sighs, shaking his head.]

Of course.

[But his sour expression only lasts so long before a smile starts to show again.]

I'm glad you're making friends with more Pokemon. I-I mean, a lot of them are terrifying, but they can be great to be around. Do they ever remind you of cave critters back home?

[gobetween]

[He thought a moment, then nodded.]

Yeah, kinda! In the way that the cave critters back home are in all different shapes, and so are the Pokemon.

[A small pause.]
