[He was pretty sure he did just really hurt Gobo, but... He doesn't want him to be alone, just in case he does need help. Besides, was there any truly good reason to stay away from one's best friend? He smiled slightly.]

I do want that.

Good. Then sit down and relax, while I get the moss pack together for my eye. Then we can start talking about where we wanna explore.

[He did just that, hands in his lap, as his smile grew some.]

Okay, Gobo. And if you change your mind about needing help, I really will be happy to help you!

I know, Wembley.

[A genuine, warm smile and he set off to gather some of the moss that grew in his cave. Making the pack was easy, though he wasn't quite sure how to keep it on his eye for now, at least and not have his hands stay free.

Electing to use his scarf for now with a shrug, he undid it and then carefully tied the strip of cloth around his head, threading it diagonally around the bulk of his muzzle and tying it near the nape of his neck, where it could support the pack from the bottom without having to go over the actual black eye. With that done, he went to gather his fledgling collection of Index maps together.]

[As badly as Wembley felt, he couldn't help a little snicker when Gobo returned with his makeshift eyepatch, though he tried to hide it behind his hands. It was probably for the best that he was quickly distracted by the maps.]

Wow, you've started some already?

Yeah, 'course I have! I was only here for a few days before I started my first map. When you can see the ground from above, it makes it pretty easy, and fun.

Here, look...

[He pulled a table over to where Wembley was sitting, and spread a few out over them, pointing out different areas of interest. The Library, different shops and homes of other Aspects, the ocean, and more.]

[A little chuckle.]

'Course you have.

[He pored over the maps with genuine curiosity, especially with regards to the ocean.]

Wow! This place has a lot of great stuff, huh?

It sure does. Took me a little bit to really get used to, you know, outside and stuff, but when I did I couldn't really stop exploring!

Yeah, that part's pretty weird.

[He smiled as he said it, though. Couldn't stop exploring; how extremely Gobo.]

But you know, I think you being used to it already is helping me be okay with it!

That's great, Wembley! And hey, getting to grow flowers wherever you go out there isn't a bad thing either, eh?

Oh, it's really not! It's really neat to be able to do that. [He giggled, then turned his attention back to the maps.] So, do you have a favorite place here yet?

Hmm, let's see...

[A bit of readjustment of his eyepack, which was dislodged bit by bit as he spoke, and he looked over the maps. He pulled one out and spread his hands over it, flattening it down.]

There's one really, really tall tree in the forest here. You can practically see the whole Index from up there! Even though heights in the Rock were kinda scary, there's something really calming about sitting up that high and looking around at the whol area.

Oh, really? Hmm, well, I'm glad you like it, Gobo! Really glad, but I think I'll have to find my own favorite place.

Although, I guess that's how it's supposed to be, anyway.

That's exactly how it's supposed to be. I mean, you guys still don't know where my special place is in the Rock, do ya.

[He released the map and let it roll up, scooping up the scroll and lightly bopping Wembley's nose with it.]

And not for lack of trying.

[He giggled at that bop, ducking his head a bit.]

Heh, yeah, I know... But I think we all understand it a little better now.

Which is good! And with that understanding you can definitely find somewhere special to you here, too.

[He smiled, then moved in to hug Gobo, but the bonk from his horn was a little too recent for him to do so comfortably. So instead, he reached one hand out for Gobo's, and rested the other on his friend's forearm.]

Thanks, buddy.

[He smiled at the improvised touch, dipping his head a bit.]

'Course. We're not best friends for nuthin', you know.

[That little show of humility made Wembley smile - it was charming.]

I know.

[A chuckle.]

They don't make friends more best than us, do they?

They sure don't!

[A scruffle of his hair, and he grinned.]

I'm glad you're here, Wembley. It makes this amazing place even better.

Careful, my flowercrown!

[Said with a laugh - he couldn't care less.]

Thanks! I'm glad I'm here, too, Gobo.

[He smiled at him a moment, then it grew to a rather teasing grin.]

Right, lemme fix that flower crown.

[And by "fix" he meant "remove it entirely and hang it off Wembley's nose."]

It goes there, right?

[He sputtered a bit with laughter.]

Gobo!

[Not that he was making any attempt to remove it, mind.]

[He snorted into fuller laughter himself, lasting a few wonderful moments before he shook his head, and started stacking the maps up.]

Yaknow, I'm starting to get hungry, and now that I think about it I didn't even get breakfast. Got distracted.

[What with the gift and the flowers and the beaning and all.]

You wanna join me?

[Still laughing a bit as he put his flower crown back on properly, Wembley then nodded.]

Sure, that sounds great!

[Every adventure needs to be fueled by a hearty meal, after all, but Wembley was realizing he'd be just as happy to hang around all day. Often - back home - Gobo was exploring, be that with Wembley, the whole group, or on his own.]
